Tomorrow's Food, Today's Strategy.
Tomorrow's Food, Today's Strategy.
Tomorrow's Food, Today's Strategy.
The scale and complexity of the challenges facing the food system in Australia are immense. We're at a pivotal point with diverse drivers of change all reaching critical mass.
Making sense of all these changes can be overwhelming. We've sharpened our focus onto some of the most springy and provocative topics for tomorrow's food strategy.
We want this to be a vibrant dialogue, and so have created a series of webinars focusing on one 'springboard' at a time.

BRING THE FUTURE FORWARD
Universal trends are helpful in informing us what is already happening, usually elsewhere in the world. Futures are helpful in showing us what might happen in the long-term, but often look too far out for many innovation strategists to be able to apply meaningfully.
Our goal is to engage the wider community in debate about some of the critical food challenges we need to plan for in Australia today and tomorrow.

There's an obvious 'say-do' gap in food consumption: ask anyone what they think about health, environment, ethics or any of the rational drivers of choice and the likelihood is that their answer will be at odds with how they behave in reality.
Our goal is to engage the wider community in debate about some of the critical food challenges we need to plan for in Australia today and tomorrow.
So, we've brought together a deeper understanding of behavioural science and consumer insight with a range of tools/frameworks and local & global experts to create more actionable leaping-off points for thinking differently about innovation within the Australian Food System.
There are 3 steps in creating clearer pathways forward:

We specialise in decoding complex problems and know that time spent opening up the problem from multiple angles helps us to better understand potential solutions.
One of core mindsets is constructive troublemaking - the act of bringing authentic dissent together with collaborative problem-solving. Hence, we are asking academics, corporates and entrepreneurs to share their insight and how they would tackle some of the most interesting challenges.
