A new Google Chrome plug-in, Blissify, keeps track of your emotional response, via facial-tracking technology and your computers in-built webcam, monitors your emotional state and even intervenes by blocking access to webpages that make you particularly unhappy. 

While researchers in the US have developed an algorithm that can identify whether you're depressed by analysing photos from your Instagram feed.
