Matt Whale Managing Director Matt is the founder of How To Impact.  He is a leader of innovation strategy, insight and delivery, with a 20+ year career in creative consultancy here and in Europe, after starting his career in chartered accountancy. He brings a combination of left-and right-brain thinking that has helped unlock innovation challenges in over 150 different innovation briefs.

Ed Elias Innovation Leader Ed has nearly ten years’ experience in brand strategy, consumer insight, research, and planning across a wide variety of sectors including media, broadcasting, telecoms, financial services and FMCG. He is a client-focused strategist with a strong background in research: he is skilled in qualitative research with experience in managing major projects for global brands. He also has an understanding of quantitative research, and is able to analyse data to generate meaningful, business-focused insights.

Lara Dolz Innovation Consultant Lara joined How To Impact as an intern after graduating with distinction from a Bachelor of Media degree in Communication & Journalism. Lara has since then become a valued member of the team bringing her dedication and passion to her role as Innovation Consultant.

Simon Nearn Non-Executive Director Simon’s career began in a sports marketing agency specialising in sailing and motor sport, and led into a role developing new markets and products that transformed the Caterham brand ultimately into a global F1 team. Since immigrating to Sydney from London in 2006, he has specialised in the development and implementation of structural changes required to transform business performance whilst spearing around Sydney Harbour racing 18 Footers.
